This landmark 22-story San Francisco North Financial District high rise was originally built in 1926. Upon acquisition, Ellis Partners completed a comprehensive redevelopment including a complete building system upgrade, core renovation and seismic upgrade. In keeping with the building’s rich history, every effort was made to preserve and enhance its unique and elegant design. Of particular note, the building’s original copper “spires” (which had been removed decades before) were reconstructed from original plans and re-installed on the rooftop. The building carries a “Category I” designation as a Historically Significant Building and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
