Michael White
Director, Asset Management

Michael White joined Ellis Partners in October 2026. His primary responsibilities are overseeing the development and execution of asset-level business plans across the firm’s Bay Area portfolio, including leasing strategy, capital investment, and operating budgets. He also directs property management and supports routine reporting to the firm’s capital partners and lenders.

Before joining Ellis Partners, Michael was the Asset Manager at Catellus Development Corporation in San Francisco, where he led the company’s asset management function. He oversaw an industrial portfolio and played a central role in the management and subsequent disposition of retail, mixed-use, and ground lease assets across multiple markets. Previously, Michael was a Senior Analyst on the asset management team at LaSalle Investment Management in Chicago, supporting more than 35 multifamily, industrial, and retail assets across six open-end core and core-plus funds. Earlier in his career, he was a Real Estate Portfolio Analyst at Hilltop Holdings.

Michael received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Indiana University and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
